This was my first attempt at buttercream peonies. It was a bit harder than I expected since my buttercream consistency was a little too soft, but I still love how it turned out. Definitely going to try a different recipe and tip (Wilton #402) next time. Luckily my neighbors love cake and have been taking these practice cakes off my hands so me and my husband don’t have to eat them!
Here are the tips I used to create this pretty little cake.
Peonies: 102 (inner layers) , 104 (mid layers), 123 (outer layers)
Border: 10
